THE ROBERT RIPLEY DIARIES
Transcribed from the original documents by Geoff Pegg
The family of Robert Ripley, a Holme man all his life, who worked at Holme Mill for 35 years as well as doing various other jobs, have given me permission to transcribe his diaries, written between 1899 and 1954.  They are a fascinating log of events in Holme during that time from his personal viewpoint.  If you have enjoyed the previous books I can guarantee that you will find this an extremely good read.
