HOLME SCHOOL CENTENARY
1911-2011
This year, Holme Primary School will have been in its present building for 100 years. There will be a celebration of this on September 12th, 2011, at the school and will include the following events:
Procession from the National School (Parish Hall) to the present school.
Unveiling of a commemorative stone in the school garden.
Re-dedication ceremony in the school hall.
Time Capsule sealed for 50 years.
Picnic at lunch for pupils, refreshments for invited guests.
Open afternoon and evening for visitors to come to the school and look around and exchange memories.

Also on July 17th, 2011 the Centenary Fair on the school field from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. There will be various stalls and entertainments.
